Well we have looked at the tournament scene at a lot of tournaments all seem to get their dates in pretty early.
Now that the successful Axes and Axis tournament is out of the way we can look forward to Rushden Rumble 2011 - the Warhammer Fantasy Doubles tournament using the eighth edition rules (naturally!).
You need an army list of 800pts for your force which has go to be combined with a partner's 800pts force. No same alliances or desperate alliances allowed - more when the rules pack is finalised and out in a week or so.
The date has been set for Saturday 9th April 2010. (NOTE THE CHANGE OF DATE PLEASE)
Just to get an idea of numbers (obviously you will need a partner for this) just add your name to this if you are interested. We envisage 20 teams for this ...(stop press: we have now space for another 4 teams so 24 places) Cost will be £12 per team at £6 each its a fair deal!
Rulespack is up in word and pdf formats. So if interested give me a shout at the Phoenix Gaming club, Pm or email me. Emailing me would give you the opportunity to ask me to send you the rulespack in Word doc format.

This "wanna go list" list is nearly full and as these people have pledged to go they will get first refusal to buy the ticket places.
The word doc and pdf for the Rules pack is ready to download see the stand alone sticky forum. If this does have the old date of 12th March on it please change it to the 9th April 2010 phoenixgamingrushden.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=clubevents&action=display&thread=1227
If we could have payment as soon as your ready to confirm places that would be nice, however we are now looking at around the end of February for the deadline on this. Although if the last couple of places haven't gone then I'm sure we would accept payment on these after such a date. All double's lists should be in no less than two weeks before the event so that the organisers can check them to give them the all clear. So by my calculations that's saturday the 26th March 2011 please.
A round one vs list will be put up a week before the tournament.
