Justin - spotted that you only allowed 2 specials above; my book has 3 specials for armies under 2000pts is that a typo or your tournament requirement? Oh and happy birthday mate! thanks warren and yes its a typo 3 specials or whatever your book says for 1000points. with regards to carls comment on the 40k if you are struggling we should be able to accomodate you with 2 substitutes in the 40k, obviously we would prefer it if you had a full team but we dont want you to miss out on points.

Ok guys - you MUST have your £7.50 to give to Stephen on Tuesday. You have been given plenty of warning about this and we do need to get the team payment to Norman Cross Crusaders thereafter - it has been requested.
Justin has asked if there are any special dietary requirements e.g.: vegetarian, gluten, lactose intolerant, orc flesh allergy etc... buffet breakfast and lunch are included and there are also snacks during the day which is extra so bring some pennies.
I will talk more on Tuesday (more than I usually do!)
As for the 40K situation if Callum can do this then that's great as Harry is already signed up! However if the situation goes pear shaped I'm sure that Justin would honour his pledge to find us a replacement guy or gal.

We should be ok now for 40K - the Team Challenge money has been paid to Norman Cross Crusaders. Now anyone that hasn't paid their £7.50 should ensure that this is paid to Stephen at the club as soon as you can. Next week I will give full details about the time you should be at Yaxley and you must try and make arrangements for lifts etc from Rushden. Its about a 40- 50 min drive there if you go at normal (legal) speed. So I might take an hour Lol.

As my kids have to come (no sitters for me) I will have one space in the car and have already said to Harry that I could take him. This would leave Callum without a lift. Could either Stephen or Roddy oblige here please as Paul will obviously make his own way there as its his neck of the woods comparitive to over here!

Just a note from Justin "i have tried and failed to upload a google map i am a bit of a technophobe if it doesn't work first time i get a little frustrated to say the least. the post code pe7 3yb brings you out at the rear of the building we will be on hand outside the building to meet you and the others. the building is called the back lane building it is the largest building that sits just behind the parade of shops on main street it takes up the whole of back lane between chapel street and blenheim way."
hope everybody got that - be there for 9.00 o'clock am !! Will last until 5.30 pm - 6.00pm

Games 2&3 on table s6&7 it will be necessary to rearrange the terrain slightly so that the team occupying this table for all 3 games gains no advantage or disadvantage. This does not affect blood bowl or any other games on any particular table.
sorry its jumbled it looks much better on the spreadsheet.
We will have to decide who is team (a) and who is team (b) if it's alphabetical then Warren and I are team (b).

Yep don't mind shouldn't matter what team we are as long as we get 3 games in.
Our 40 K doubles team is back on track with Brandon now in with Callum.
The schedule hasn't come out quite that readable here - unfortunately I don't mod this section and can't change it so its easier to read. So I will try and put it up in a better form. erm that's gonna take some time which I don't have at the mo...
On another note (which I don't really have to say) we are representing the club and its a fun day out. Any altercations try and D6 them or seek the refs. Have a blast! ;D

I have a problem and tried to get in contact with Paul but he's not answering his phone. I can't find my fell bats anywhere - so I'm going to have to go without and get something else in. I have turned my house upside down looking for them for three hours and they haven't turned up. Got everything else just not them so if anybody going tomorrow has any - I will be grateful - I could use the carrion as proxy models - but its not in the best spirit.

Excellent day today! Norman Cross Crusaders won the tournament which was cool - however we came second but I don't know what teh point differences were as Julie was pushy to get home before I could say a proper goodbye and get results. Hopefully they will be posted up somewhere.
A massive thanks to Alex who stepped in the breach for Roddy and did rather well by all accounts (two wins and a loss), as well as picking up Darrell, Brandon, and Callum. Julie and Darrell lost one game and drew two in Fantasy. Paul and I managed a win and two very close draws. However Callum and Brandon also got a win and two draws I believe. Unsure about Stephen though. However Paul smashed a Skaven furnace to pieces with the huge plague monk unit surrounding it fleeing with my ghouls in toe in the last round of the match. Lots of points that virtually saved us in the last game.
Sometime we should reciprocate and host a team challenge as this proved to be a winner and I would like to congratulate Justin Easby in organising the day. Good fun day, meeting new people and a few surprising old aquaintances. Excellent food layout and all done with the players in mind. I don't know about anybody else but I thought it was well run and all games were very friendly and fun to play. Everybody was exceptionally decent and really cooperative. Well done Justin!

We finished 4 points behind the Norman Cross Crusaders.
We had 49 points over all, with Norman Cross Crusaders finishing on 53.
Results for us were as follows: Darrell & Julie (2 Draws & 1 Loss): 7 Points Paul & Warren (1 Win & 2 Draws): 11 Points Callum & Brandon (2 Wins & 1 Loss): 11 Points Stephen (2 Wins & 1 Loss): 11 Points Alex : I don't know Alex's exact results, I know he won one game, and must have scored 9 points in total for us to end on 49.
I had a really good time, all three of my games were great fun. I had chances of wininng all three, but blew my dice rolls to score in 0the second half of game two, which was the one I lost.
