The spearmen also have a better WS, and don't suddenly drop to Ld 5 when outside of 12" of the general.

we had originally said we were going to use undead/undead (lots of ghouls) list was far too cheesy and boring were going to take BoC & DoC a much more interesting list. Please change J.easby/A.sansom we may also have a 3rd entrant from NCC if you have space i will let you know as soon as i do.

Not a problem however with only the Beasts book coming out later this week it would take me some time to actually get the rules and nuances of the book right. We talked about it at length at the club and we feel that a month is not quite justified for this at a tournament. If you were using BoC it would have to be 6th ed. I hope you understand. There is still space but I have 4 other teams sort of in the same boat saying they may come so I would be quick to beat them to it. Instant payment guarantees a spot immediately.

Well it depends on what's being used, surely?
I mean if the guys throw to you guys the BoC list early, you can run through them and check what's right, wrong, etc.
Heck, if they wanna fling their BoC list my way I can tell from there what's instantly going to be a rules prob. or not. Been combing that book for a few weeks now and it's going to get some testing in store soon.
The more diverse armies the better! xD

That's the perk of working at GW - we haven't seen a book at all and won't do until the end of the week. We did discuss and came to the conclusion that the new BoC list could not be used as it's release was too close to the tournament. With respect our decision on this is final. The AGOM IV FAQ Skaven rules sent has been reviewed by Stephen and we will stick to this. See above attachement. Attachments:

You really don't have to email the army lists - we will check them on the day. Besides this will give you lots of time to change the army list if you need to. However I do ask that everybody states which two armies they will be taking plus a team name, which both cannot be changed by 11.59pm wed 3rd March.

I know you said your decision is final but there are some really cool stuff in there... shame really

They will be in next time stunties.
If the doubles is quite successful we may actually do a singles competition later in the year. However booking the scout hut etc will be needed and the numbers will be quite limited due to the space. I like the Bristol guys' idea of letting your army be played by your opponent and you play theirs and then swap over a duration of 3hrs (both games) at 1200pts each. However Paul went to a similar one recently where he had x number of games in the day which he used the army of whoever he was drawn against and the last game he played with his own army. Maybe an option but we don't want to be too samey.
Some of the ideas in the WAB scenarios are well worth looking at to perhaps use in fantasy - and they should work. Some people nerfed the idea of the desperate defending and that turned out above what was expected in the favour of a big thumbs up from everyone. Anyway plenty of time to sort out scenarios for the singles competition - let's get the doubles out of the way first.
