As it states .... I believe everybody has plenty of time to do this. Just do it right now and get it over and done with. Send to my email address... If you don't have it PM me and I will send it on to you. There are lists that I do not have the book for but I will check your points and refer to the WAB forum which I am a member of. There are a lot of people there with a lot of experience years with WAB. However I will endeavour to go over certain rule books from now until the end of September to make sure all is dandy / pucka/ kosher / legite! If there are mistakes I will just email you about it and ask for you to change it promptly. No points deductions or stupid anal retentive actions will be done in this campaign if you do make a mistake - its just for fun! Waiting lists.........................

So far in are: James Leigh : Imperial Romans (just waiting on skirmish list) Darrell Lee: Gauls Julie Stevens: Republic Romans. Mine: Spartan Greek allies Stephen Mawson: Carthage
I am waiting for another seven lists by a week on Tuesday please. Thanks to those so far - it makes life a little easier to go through them ahead of time rather than going through twelve the day before the campaign starts.

I now have six lists in - (that's 50%!) Thanks for your Persian list Kieron (although I need the skirmish list and which units you will use for the reserve 500pts).
I am concerned that I have not heard anything from Edmund or Robert. Do they post on here at all?

I spoke to Edmund on Tuesday. He said he would email you his army list before Tuesday.
Robert is going to need help sorting his list out as he has no army books or anything. My plan was to help him sort out his army last Tuesday. Unfortunately he wasn't here on Tuesday, not was he here last week either. I'm presuming he's on holiday.
Robert has a login to the forum, although he doesn't post much. I'll send him an email, tonight.

There was no Hun intended ;D
I have sent you an email. thanks
Andy and Roddy - I have not heard from either of you also. Sorry to be a pain but I am reminding everyone. If I have all the lists before the 11th August I could draw the army teams on this date - a week early. First round skirmish matches should be completed by September end.
Julie and I went through one in 45 minutes. So I was wondering what people thought of this proposal?
For an evening 750pts skirmish is quite small and does not take that much time to play. I propose a best out of three against the same opponent - what do people think? Alternatively play 3 games of skirmish with different opponents?
I will place a poll for all concerned.
STOP CHECK I have posted the poll a realised that almost everybody would need to attend on the last two choices.

Can't see that being an issue.
I will need to get my copy of the WAB Rules back off Darrell so I've got the Roman army list. But I should be able to sort you out, during the evening.
I'm bringing down the Roman's as it is, as I'm going to be giving Alex a small practice game of WAB.

I'd send him an email if I were you Warren. I know he's not going to be down at the club this week.

Ok just three lists missing now but some I know are actually doing it this evening at the club, and others maybe away on hols. No matter I will be doing the draw tonight as opposed to next week - because I want to get it out of the way and I'm impatient to know who will be in who's team? I will do this at about nine o'clock to give people an hour or so to give me any last changes (or even a list in some cases). With the first round skirmish game I have come to the conclusion that we may need to set aside two alternative nights for these games if people want to do the round robin. Then it dawned on me that some people may have legitimate reasons why they could not show up - illness, holiday etc... and that would put a spanner into the works. So it looks like the best option is in fact best of three against the same opponent. This holds no complications at all. We have already witnessed WoW being put back and back and changed and put back again on a number of occasions this year, because we couldn't get the desired numbers. Also whoever had all of the gear on that particular day had other commitments. Another one is double booking - guilty as charged for one of those ! So in hindsight round robins may look pretty cool but how do we get six players to show up on the same night? Six players one night and the other six players on another? I do love the idea but can't see it working. There will be always somebody with a problem or some other last minute commitment that evening which would generally unintentionally spoil it for the other five . If everybody commits and shows up that evening then fantastic. Logistically it can be a nightmare if we have no shows - so to simplify the best out of three against the same opponent could be the better option - although perhaps not the best for play. Returning to the double booking of nights - can we make sure that we have the historical campaign games played once in the month. The idea behind just one game is to give people flexibility between the other genres and to help with the painting of miniatures which some may need (although this not particularly necessary as long as they are undecoated) Your thoughts
