Will do Peter - just check your PM above for extra details. Oh and well done for getting in there for the last place for FoW (I take it that's what you meant)

I've moved myself into the reserve list for the FoW, so there is still actually one place up for grabs.
I'd rather just run the tournament rather than try and play in it as well, but if we don't find a taker for the last place I'll step back in.

We have had a drop out for the WAB tournament and for a good reason, apologies accepted etc.. So now there are 6 places still to fill for the WAB tournie.
We could put up another 4 places for the FoW tournie to make use of the tables - what do you think?

If we started looking for more FoW games we'd probably be struggling for terrain a bit. We have enough for 8 tables, but more would be an issue.
26 entries is pretty impressive since this is the first one of these events.

@ Carl - yes I figured with the new release of the WFB big box on that day after Darrell mentioned that all GW shops were having a "big day", that I doubted that he would be able to attend because of this. Fairly legit reason and one which was not forseable months back. Although apologies and reasons have been sent ... there is a view to come to the next one.

I have talked to Simon and it seems that the fairest thing to do is to waive the 10 points deductions for the failure to hand in Army lists. My 2 and half week holiday has caused a few problems and it wasn't something that I had accounted for. There are 6 places left in WAB competition and this alone could stop people from entrering. So we have waivered this and nobody will be penalised the 10pts. If there are people out there that haven't handed in their list then this is no longer a problem as a lot have been checked already - this has lessened future work on these if somebody new wishes to sign up for the tournament.

Hi,
Are there any places open for the FOW Competition? Or is there a "reserve" list?
Regards Neil

There is still one place available for the FoW tournament.
I've added you onto the list.
You'll need to get the entry fee of £10 in in the next couple of weeks, and you'll also need to get your army list in to me by the 28th of August, so I've got time to check it over before the tournament starts.
