I have just realised that this can be quite useless really.
Let's say my character who is immune to poison is hit by an enemy character that is strength five with poison. If he is immune to poison he doesn't take the six hit as a wound but then has to get wounded on a strength 5 dice roll, effectively -2 on the armour save if he gets wounded. If he took the poison he would have a normal save. This doesn't seem quite right if you are immune to poison - there doesn't seem to be any benefit against higher strength enemies with poison when it comes down to the armour save. Ok the opponent has to roll to wound you - but come on!
With flammable attacks the hits are ignored if you are immune to these, why not poison?
Hang on scrub that - I just realised that you would have to take the poison 6 hit with a -2 to the armour save anyway if he was strength 5. However if you are immune he just has to roll to wound you. Some people haven't been doing this.

A lot of people play this wrong, I guess they're used to most poison attacks being S3 (Skinks & Ghouls come to mind) and thus think the strength can be ignored.
You're right that it is strange that immunity to flaming attacks means you can't be hurt by them, but immunity to poison just stops the special ability of poison attacks not stops them entirely.

i think ALL undead shouldn't have to worry about poison as poison kills and they are already goners. whats all that about?

Poison effects undead - it disrupts the magic flow. Stupid I know but its in the FAQ - why would we have a cadaverous curaiss if it didn't?

I know we'll make undead "immune to being killed" as well! Let's face it the VC need all the help they can get...
