Am somewhat interested myself and being located in the Northampton area it's not too hard for me to get down there, but I need to throw a call out to my tourny partner and see whether he fancies giving it a crack.

Essentially this is an 'interest' post but figured would throw it out for what it's worth. He's back the Monday after Xmas but I'll see if I can catch up with him before then.

Just a rules clear up.

If you're facing two armies who are listed as 'Battlebrothers' you instantly lose the first turn roll unless you also are with a team mate who is a battlebrother of the race you're using?

If that's so, what happens if you're facing a double Bretonnians army? Do they instantly gain the first turn even if they pray?

Rule is that battle brothers would lose the first turn. As with Brets they lose the first turn anyway when they pray- so not much change there. If you are Battle brothers and the team opposing you is also battle brothers then you would roll on a D6 taking +1 for setting up first as per normal rules. If you were teamed up with Brets and they prayed regardless of being trusted, distrusted or highly distrusted they would go last as per their rules. This would be the only time that battle brothers would have the first turn against trusted, distrusted and higly distrusted. However, if the Brets decided not to pray then battle brothers would lose the first turn as normal. Perhaps an errata for the the rules pack. I hope that helped... I presume whatever result this is, the opposite is true for the other extreme?

Also note: Bretonnians don't 'lose' the first turn, they simply have to ask their opponent, would you like to go first or second. Okay admittedly I've never had someone let me go first but yeaaaah... Haha

Going to run the rulespack over to mah mate tonight and see what he says. If he's grand we'll throw our names down. Might be able to wangle two other mates into the fray as well if I catch 'em over the weekend.
