Quick update with another place taken by Richard and Edmund at the club who will try it out - well done lads!
Will and possibly Robert have volunteered (pressganged?) into taking up a standby slot if we have an odd number of teams.

Just a week away now everybody and its getting exciting - can't wait! Just a quick request for everybody that can - we would like as many PGC members to get to the Scout Hall as early as possible 8.00am is fine to help set up. Will and Robert: I will bring the O&G army for you if you are needed to fill that odd spot - however you should also come early to help if you can. Robert I have also charged you with another job (if you remember) if you do not end up playing. Julie and I have a lot of things to pack into the car terrain wise, computer, possibly a printer, armies oh and kids as well as the refreshments to sort out so we maybe a little later (but not that much). As it goes for refreshments how many kettles etc are there in the kitchen section? If anybody has a spare kettle or even coffee/ tea dispenser or jug that would keep a large volume of such liquids warm for a time - please bring it! Julie is currently getting prices for that many doughnuts as Asda. They didn't seem to have big packs of them so we may have to get a quote from a baker, as Tesco is just too far away for us with everything going on this time of the morning. I suppose a local baker would be a little more expensive but it will be better quality. Anyway this is undecided - Julie will check Asda again on Tuesday. I believe that only 6 pints of milk is needed, Julie will get this at the same time as the doughnuts ; sugar, tea and coffee will be bought on Tuesday and will be stored in the terrain hold cupboard upstairs until Saturday. Another thing which I have noticed on certain tournament forums is a number of complaints from people about the lack of toilet roll at some venues - I suppose if you were going to play Julie and I you would probably need it .... so that you could wipe the floor with us ;D!! So a pack of four for the day should help! Andy how are you getting on with that little job? (Hmm probably not a thing to ask after that last paragraph - sorry .) I have got the certificates done for "best sports" and these have been framed now. I have painted up the Graveyard scenery (and it looks ... well ....better than it did) and Julie has been working on the buildings x4 she only needs to finish the basing of these. The other terrain / trees will be done this weekend. If anybody has any thoughts or "things to do" which I may have forgot to list please get them on here. thanks - I hope everbody has a great time!

so far this does includes the Phoenix volunteers if they are needed. SOLD OUT NOW!! pending one or two payments. Nice to see an open spread however noteably no Tomb Kings or Beasts as we said no to the latest book for the latter as it was too close.

This goes to show that anybody can do this - with a little bit of hard work. If this gets some good feedback we will try and make this an annual event. It also opens the road for other events. Hopefully this is another way to show what a good organised club we actually are, however it does work on team work and not just from a one person.

We had a great time at the Bedford store DT last week, mentioned more such events in the future. maybe we could organise a local gaming day, tournie whatever with local clubs and GW shop teams, maybe? GCN orientated, perhapse? maybe at Warhammer world or maelstrom? Dave
