Warren; what is the current list of prizes for this, Darrell has an extra couple for you and i think we should use some of the money raised from selling club stuff to buy a few extra prizes.
think we should go for just gaming stuff this year.
also when will you be starting to sell tickets?

I have been left very much in the dark about this one. Nobody has told me what prizes are up for grabs or who has donated what. So at the moment we only have a few items left from last year and that's it. If someone would like to send me a definite list of what we have so far then I don't mind doing this again this year. Last year's amount was something else but I don't think we will have as much this year for some reason.

To add to this from last year is the 2nd world war book, Lord of the Rings Merry and Pippin, A Witch hunter book, a dawn of War t-shirt - that's all I can find at the moment. I have retracted the two videos as you said game stuff only.
If (and I do ask) we have any money from the sale of club models then at least a couple of fantasy boxes would be fair as currently it seems to be 40K all the way a little LOTR and no fantasy at all.
So who's getting that then?

i have two very large club t-shirts if you want them, but i do agree with Warren about fantsy stuff OR we get some vouchers from Will. perhaps 3 x £10 would be good as we made far more than that from the sale of club stuff. also, i think we should put the profits from this towards buying ourselves one of those roll up banners for things like kelmarsh and gamesday etc. i know you wanted to donate to help for heroes but as an alternative, why dont we donate all of the subs for the AGM night to this cause instead, so the more people who turn up the more money we donate. plus if anyone wants to bung in the odd extra pound then great.

Ok we have got quite a few prizes now with the addition of the vouchers and the very kind donation of all the 4 unopened boxes of 40K models such Orks etc from Richard ... thank you so kindly for that. We have raised £40 so far but need to go an extra stretch to beat last year's figure! So dig deep lads and lasses to pump in some more pennies. There is next week still to up this total. Thanks to everybody for the support so far.

The boxes Richard has very kindly donated are a Space Ork Box (16 Orks), a Ork Scorcher Box (although this can also be used to make a Wartrack), a Box of Eldar Guardians (16 Guardians), and an Emperors Children Chaos Space Marine Box (8 Models including the Sonic Weapons)
