I have a real dilemma due to a large order I placed online 2 weeks ago from a model/game distributor and I would like to ask club members for their opinion. Last week I made an enquiry via telephone regarding dispatch and I was told due to the large volume they were unable to process the order and awaiting further supplies apologising as their online store showed full stock availability when I made the order. My response was, instead of an apology which is useless you can include as many free items for the club as you want, on hearing club the proprietor reacted immediately and agreed suggesting a boxed selection, and today I received an email confirming my order had been processed and dispatched. My dilemma is whilst my intentions at the time were to distribute the free items amongst the Phoenix club members I now want the items for my own club as I only stated club and no names. My wife and I spoke for many hours with me ending up saying it's too hard and she agreed.

Hello Carl
Well do I keep the items or do I give to the club ?
The company name is irrelevant and for my purposes only.
Assuming you are referring to the free items and not the order, I do not know what they are and I can only repeat what the proprietor stated which was "a boxed selection"

I think if its your order you should keep it. I can't see where anybody at the club should have a right to claim anything. On the other hand if you wanted to donate to the club - that would be very generous of you. However, like you said its better to wait to see what it is and then its your perogative about what you would like to do (as Carl says above) - your order your stuff.

I agree with Warren and Carl.
You didn't offer these items to the club before the phone call, therefore if you hadn't mentioned them on this notice board we would have been none the wiser. Phoenix Gaming has no claim on these items at all, it's entirely up to you to decide what to do with them.
