Hi Warren,
I am really sorry but I have had work commitments pop up which means I am away next Tuesday & Wednesday and I cant get out of them so will miss the Skirmish round robin games on Tuesday. Is it possible that another Europa League player could sub fo me? I dont know if this is possible or indeed if anyone is available?
Sorry for being such a pain in the A*!
Roddy

As I said with the lead up to the campaign that this may happen and can't be helped. The few ways that I can see this handled are listed below. 1) Someone from the Europa League can play your list - preferably someone that was in last weeks game - Simon has volunteered. If that's the case then any individual points he gains (or loses) will be recorded on your own generalship table. 2) The same person could play their list and record the points on your behalf (as above). Both one and two should meet with the Byzantium coalition's approval first. 3) We could only play 2 skirmish matches but then this defeats the object and penalises the Byzantium Coalition in having less matches as well. This would mess this up. I think that scenario one is the best - as Simon is on our team I could email him (with your permission) just your skirmish side (750pts) and he could play with stand in troops. To be honest in WAB that is not difficult - (unless you have an illegal minotaur hidden somewhere). This would solve the situation. Let me know if that is ok and I will forge ahead. Its a pity as I was really looking forward to see you play them. I'll just have to wait a little longer.

If all agree then I think scenario 1 is the best option.

We have all agreed Roddy. Simon is just looking for models but we will cope with stand ins or proxies. Have a great time at work I'm sure we will be thinking all about you .

Roddy - I've looked over the list - my email address is on my profile so if you have any advice on how you were planning to use this army when you put the list together feel free to email them to me

I would treat it just like most armies - know which are your best troops and your holding troops. Against Romans this may be tricky.
