Those look excellent, may have to buy some. I was looking at doing Covenanter's anyway as they fought against both Parliamentarians and the Royalists at different points, so can be used sensibly against both English factions.

Sorry guys but there is a couple special rules you need to be aware of.
They are prone to getting drunk and fighting amongst themselves and the owner must learn to play the bagpipes!

Tempted yes but I still have a few quid to spend on my Chinese army so won't be buying them for a while. I think I may wait for the highlanders so I can do Montrose.

Having spoken to Paul Sawyer on Facebook, he says that the new Black Powder rules are done! (they played the final draft at the Partisan games show), and are off the printers this week, so give it a month and they will be available (hopefully).
But this also means that the guys should bring the finished rule set with them on the 22nd... (not for sale) along with some cavarly... (hopefully for sale... )
