Nice Idea Stephen - could we possibly have two sub forums for the two teams? Obviously we need the two names for the teams but if everyone was ok with the ones I put in the rules then you could go with those ones. Is it possible for Liam to come up with the passwords for each team forum as he did for the WFB all dayer big battle?
Remember that all lists have to be in by the 11th August -
to refresh everybody's memory its a 2000pt list with 500pts taken out for the reserve plus a 750pt skirmish army.
As I have said before the skirmish army and main 1500pts army will never be on the same battlefield so models can be used twice so to speak. The skirmish army does not have to be made solely with skirmishers - but all models will adopt a skirmish formation except heavy or light infantry which can adopt a skirmish or a ranked formation taking a turn to flip between formations. Heavy cavalry cannot. However this is only for the skirmish army and no others.
If there are individuals without access to army lists or books please tell me so I can work something out for you. I will show up tomorrow but I don't have a game so it will be just to get the low down for Kelmarsh and to guage who is currently having list problems. Those using any club models will be a little more in the know about what is available to them after Kelmarsh for the campaign.
My list will be done first and submitted to Stephen. Although I don't really see how I would "doctor" my list to counter anybody as I don't know which team I will be in and who I will be drawn against. The good thing about this system is that you won't know and it will be too late to change your list according to your opponent. This under the rules of fair play will not be tolerated.
However, sporadic checks will be made to ensure that what you are playing on the board conforms to what is on your list.
If one of your opponents is playing elephants and you may just know about it - it would be rather foul play to show up with four or five bolt throwers when they weren't in your list to start with.
I think you get the picture!
Happy Gaming! ;D
