Hi all.
The club has kindly asked me to submit a quote to supply 'packed lunches' for the two days at Kelmarsh. (Thank you).
I intend to quote on each lunch consisting of 1xSandwich, 1xCrisp, 1xCake/chocolate bar. I will also supply a case of mineral water on each day, and fizzy drinks as req. Dont worry, I intend to charge just over cost price (about £2.50 each not including drinks, to cover labour/petrol). So do you requires a 'Total' cost or price per person?
Firstly, how many 'Staff' will there be on each day.
Secondly, any requests for the sandwichs. I got a pretty extensive range so feel free to list you favourites... (within reason)(NO crocodile sandwiches, because i cant make 'em snappy...)

cucumber sounds good.
might be better just to do water instead of fizzy drinks as spillages of water onto tables wont cause as much of a problem as spilt fizzy stuff.

Ok. Will supply 2 cases of water per day, which is around £5 a case (24 bottles), but will do it a as a 'sell or return'.
Anyone fancy a Bacon, Brie & Cranberry? my favourite sandwich at the moment...

mmmmm ;D One of each please I'll leave it to your discretion Kieron, as a conersewer, connasuier, big fan of sandwichs. The Earl of Sandwich invented them either in our village, at his London club or at Hinchingbrooke House where he lived and I now work, so I have a claim to all of them.

Kieron I would be very interested in two lots for the Sunday only - Bacon . brie and cranberry sounds lovely. Just one small request from me about the bacon - I actually eat it crispy (but not black).
Incidentally everybody Julie said she would be making some sausage rolls, bacon and cheese puffs, flapjacks and minicakes to have for the evening on Saturday for all participants at the club, just to tide us over. She doesn't want paying for this - think of it as a gift - unless you want to donate to the club for each edible morsel!

No problem, crispy bacon it is.
Just so everyone knows, that included in the 'list' of sandwiches I intend to bring are:
Tuna Mayo & Cucumber Bacon, Brie & Cranberry Chicken Mayo Ham & Tomato Chicken Tikka Mayo Chicken Salad Cheese Salad Cheese Pickle Egg Mayo, Bacon & Tomato Egg Mayo & Cress
Will vary slightly on the Sunday, and include some 'plain' chicken/ham/cheese, but that should cater for most people. Any other requests please just post.

I understood everyone was paying for theirs on both days. Can you be clear exactly what is going on and who is paying for what as its a bit sketchy. If the Saturday one is on behalf of the club then count Julie and I in. It will save on a little extra work for Julie considering she will be making evening snacks for all. Incidentally I would be down for two sets on Sunday Kieron as expressed last Saturday.

OK. Catering for Saturday. Water/Drinks on both days.
I believe the club was paying for Saturday.
If I dont need to make sandwiches for Sunday then I'd rather not. (will save a lot of work Sat. night/Sun morning, plus an extra trip into Northampton to pick them up).

Julie’s Savoury Munchies for Saturday Evening at Kelmarsh.
As you may or not know Julie has decided to make quite a number of savouries and a few cakes for Saturday night due to the extortionate prices for food catering at Kelmarsh. As you can imagine it does take time and money to do such things and there will be a small charge for each item. Half the money will go in recuperating costs for Julie and the other half will go directly to the club. I have had a chat with the Vice Chair (Carl) on the matter and he suggested this as an option - as he felt it wasn't fair that Julie should do this off on her own back.
So what’s on offer?:
Cheese and Bacon Puffs (these are freaking huge) – £0.80 each. Cheese and Onion Puffs (ditto) ------------------------ £0.60 each Sausage Rolls (long versions) -------------------------- £0.60 each
Chocolate chip cup cakes……………………………........ £ 0.30 each Chocolate Muffins …………………………………................£0.50 each Flap Jacks (with raisins and golden syrup)……………£0.50 each
All of this will be made the Friday evening as Saturday morning will be just taking the proverbial. So if anybody wishes to pre-order for Saturday evening then the time is now! ;D
