Pretty much a ronseal post here. Is anyone considering going to BritCon in Manchester this year? It'll be held from Thursday the 13th to Sunday the 16th of August, has a full trade show on the Saturday and Sunday, and will be running a large amount of tournaments, including WAB, WFB, 40k, Blood Bowl, FOW and Principles of War. Check out their web site for details.

This looks very interesting and also at the right time of year for me - school hols. I may be tempted and so Julie however its asking who would like the kids.
I had a look at the download etc but really couldn't work out any structure to the event. Especially the tournaments. The WFB download has about 10- 11 pages of some quite silly rules and some very good ones. However I did notice a massive variety of historicals ranging from DBA (myriad of those), WAB and FoG. How are their tournies worked out? It does mention accomodation - I take it its the Univeristy digs?
I will have to think long and hard about this one yet - and ensure that I have all the facts.

Bear in mind that the downloads are for last year's tournaments and have not yet been updated for the 2009 event (which is rather silly of them to be honest, if you ask me).
