With the changes to cover made in the latest edition of the Warhammer 40,000 rules, I've found it necessary to modify them slightly to suit the club's terrain. This leads me to think that the 40k players of the club ought to get together and decide on a set of club house rules that would always be in effect for all games played at the club (with the exception of games played against outsiders such as in an inter-club tournament). If so, what rules would people want to put into such a list of house rules? I, for one, tend to use the following rules in my games; - Forests grant a cover save to anything in or behind them, regardless of the position of trees nor 50% coverage in the case of vehicles and Monstrous Creatures,
- Hills block line of sight to things behind them (due to the lack of height the club hills are).

Not adverse to house rules but I am happy enough the rules in the book and deciding with who I play what rules to use. Anyway a model inside area terrain always gets that cover save and if you fire through terrain vehicles/models get a cover save according to the new rules so the forest point is moot. As for hills can we not buy some bigger ones otherwise things just hide behind hills which i feel rather spoils the game.

perhaps the hills where meant to represent those around here I personal don't see a problem with the hills (yes they could be bigger), just stay with the TLOS rule.
