Judging by certain WFB forums there may be quite a few lizardmen armies with a crap load of skirmishing poison dart skinks. So question is how does this work on a steam tank? If war machines are not affected by poison does that make them immune? If so does the "poison" skink attacks then revert to normal attacks? If this is the case then a strength 3 blow pipe would wound the ST on a 6. This does sound so implausable and unreal that a poison dart would actually cause a wound on a steam tank. Your thoughts?

My answer would be to look up exactly how poison works in the Warhammer rule book. If it doesn't specifically state that poisoned attacks don't work on a warmachine (and I can't remember the exact wording at present) then they do, and you could in theory hurt a Steam Tank with Skinks.
Although even without poison you'd still be able to do damage in theory. Hitting on a 3+, wounding on a 6+ with a 2+ save to avoid damage. You'd need a lot of dice, or plenty of luck to get an unsaved wound through, but it could happen.
