Hi Guys, There is a Flames of War Tournament running at Games Expo in Birmingham on 7th June (link : www.ukgamesexpo.co.uk/). It is a 1500 point late war tournament and I am thinking of entering my Yanks (tanks or GI's - just don't know which!). Anyone else interested and want to share the trip? Might be good to sharpen our competitive play (I certainly need that ) and see how others interpret the rules etc - oh and maybe have a bit of fun! Looking at the website there will be a few suppliers there so may be an opportunity to run up a credit card bill or two also ;D Roddy

was thinking of going up to end of last year but not played enough really. maybe next year.
however, as you were not well enough to go to salute how about going just to the event itself as a 'punter' if you decide not to enter the comp.
would have perhaps been tempted if the tournie was on the saturday as it says the awards ceremony does not start until 7pm on the sunday which could mean a 'late-ish' return home, and work on the monday.

I'm keen to do the tournie as I think its a good way of sharpening up, but I would still be up for going on the Saturday too as I think theres a few other games going on the Saturday

Funnily enough! I saw this from a link on the FOW site and was having a think about it. The only drawback was the thought of rules lawyers all over the place.
I might give it a go though. I'll let you know on Tuesday.
Cheers Alex
