I have bit the bullet and decided to buy this book to play pirate skirmish games and sea battling. It looks good and can be played as a campaign so to speak as you can add attributes etc as you go from game to game. Primarily bought just for one off games without people racing ahead making themselves uber captains with crew. The latter was something that happened with Frostgrave for a bit as some would play consistently and would then be too overpowered for others to play who had only a few games under their belt.
Just waiting for the Post man!

For frost grave that is. What you gone for Carl, Pete? I've been looking at the necromancer and the frostgrave soldiers to start off.

Both of these games sound intriguing. Some small warband games would make a nice change from my usual biggish unit based efforts...
