Hi all,
Having read the other thread, can I just get a confirmation that the league will start next Tues (3rd Feb), and what league rules/special rules we will be using?
I just got a copy of 'Burning Drachens' as I believe this is the 'full' set of rules, plus we get to have another player board/stick...
And do we have to start with planes from series one, or is my Sopwith Snipe from 2nd series ok as a starter?
Chocks away...

i'm in. as we are holding the quick kelmarsh meeting first this is an ideal starting night for the league
my man, pilot, Erich Von Klinkerhoffen will chase down ze Tommy boys and send zem home to their mamas'.
for anyone who doesn't recognise his name, in WW2 he will be resting in a quiet French town, and causing havoc for a certain local cafe owner and his overbearing wife, who cannot sing.
"i will post zis only vonce."

Hi, Yes we are starting on Tuesday. I haven't finalised everything with Liam yet, but the rules are all very similar. The ones that cover all the points are the "Wings of War - miniatures rules" mainly because they cover the two seater planes that you can use later on. From what Liam suggested the better handling series 2 planes will require a few points to buy. From our earlier chats the Snipe should be easy to get hold of, with only a few points needed. I have spare camels and spads. I'll try and get a full run down posted by Saturday evening, with a link to the rule sets.

Okay, I got a downloaded copy of those rules, they look the same...
Will get a basic plane for my fearless pilot 'Flashheart'...

Sob - I don't have a plane and I'm a bit behind on the rules. If anybody could help me there for the moment then it would be nice. I'm thinking of a name for my Englander pilot.
Percival "Loop-the-Loop" Wattenby-Smythe - like that one but a little poncey. I'll think of another soon.

Ah old bean - looks like you will be using a zimmer -frame after we boys shoot you from the skies! I believe the Red Baron will be too busy eating brackwurst but I'm sure we lads can get him in the air to eat humble pie - "Red baron at six o'clock Ginger - bombs away!"
