"No one chooses this life. Any sane person would endure the drudgery of day labor or a craft. They’d work hard and raise a collection of rugrats to continue on their bloodline. The League employs misfits, rejects and outcasts who do the only job they are fit for: prospecting.
Wealth, riches and power lie in the crumbling ruins of the Broken Coast for those brave and foolish enough to venture into the wilderness. A few rare Leaguesmen return with wealth beyond imagination; most have their minds broken by the horrors of the Old World, while the lucky few meet a quick death.
That's just life in the League."

Hi,
I've got one player so far for a 5th edition D&D game. I'm looking for a couple more players. I'd like to run it fortnightly, and I'm looking to start around the 25th of January and early February at the latest. The setting I want to use is a homemade setting. It's very low magic, with a bit of a swords and sorcery feel.
Inspiration for the game is:
Game of Thrones
Conan the Barbarian (Movie) and Robert E. Howard short stories
Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser
Borgias
Dragonslayer
Princess Mononoke
Pillars of the Earth (TV Show)
Ocean's 11
Nasica of the Valley of the Wind
I know that's a bit of an odd list. Basically, adventurers are a mix of mafia, tomb robbers, and just a little bit folk hero. The League is a culture. It's got rituals and rules. It's not your standard D&D setting. It's more about the drama of being an adventurer than about finding treasure and slaying monsters.
He's a link to some of the stuff I've written about the setting: the-league-of-prospectors-and-moneylenders.obsidianportal.com/
There's also a theme songs for the setting:
No Rest for the Wicked: youtu.be/wBgp5aDH23glink
Short Change Hero: youtu.be/P1QUZzeZoPQ
