Hello Stephen
If new members join the club for the first time can you not steer them to the Age of Eagles table, although convenient for you Brian was not interested in the game or period in any way shape or form, I did ask and he expressed a preference for post 2WW games. New members should be looked after by member/s of the committee and after the their first visit game suitability can be assessed. If you do not like this request feel free to give me another final written warning as you seem to be quite capable in this area.

Sorry if that disrupted your game in any way, and believe me I'm grateful that you and Gavin were willing to give Brian a taste of the Napoleonic.
I had only brought him over to introduce him to you, purely as from the initial conversation I'd had with him he'd indicated he was interested in historical games rather than Fantasy or Sci-fi stuff. As you were the only ones this week doing anything on a historical front, that left a limited selection to show him.
If you'd rather be uninterrupted that's not a problem and I won't bring other new members over next time if you'd rather I didn't.
I'm perfectly happy to give any new member a game, or let them use my army while I supervise or do something else. I can't however so easily accomodate that when I'm DMing, as if I do something else I've got 5 people who then haven't got a game.

Hello Stephen
It did not disrupt the game it ruined the whole evening and I cannot remember me or Gavin being willing to give Brian a taste of the Napoleonic, furthermore he expressed only a preference in post WW2 games and an interest in his fantasy army using 2nd edition rules with 15mm figures with no mention to anything else. Yes you can introduce new members and yes we can introduce the game rules but first Stephen establish what the person desires and I repeat Brian did not like the game and he is only interested in post WW2 games. And I also repeat this is a role for committee members shall we say to bring on board chaperone new members and not simply palm them off to other members so you can have an enjoyable evening and ours ruined. If you do not like my comments here please feel free to award me a final written warning as these are the facts and the truth always hurts.

I can only appologise for that then. I had got the impression, apparently mistakenly, that (a) you were ok with Brian joining in, and that (b) Brian wanted to do so.

Hello Stephen
Well the evening was ruined also by the letter you gave me and the fact that you waited for Gavin to arrive and why was liam involved, was the letter so heavy it required two to carry. Now Stephen if you want me to leave the club just get it out and say it on this forum right now.
