Hey I was recently given the new £100 dark elf kit and its given me a chariot to assemble. I'm not used to using chariots so I could use some help on knowing which one to build. From my reading the Cold One Chariot is a charge into the enemy and deal massive amounts of damage while the Scourgerunner Chariot looks to be the one that rides around shooting people. I'm leaning towards the Scourgerunner Chariot but as I said I'm just not use to chariots. Any help would be useful, Thanks!

Julie runs with 3 cold one chariots which are tough and deal quite a damage out as you say. However they are subject to stupidity and if they roll too high they can end up being charged. Its better to charge to get the D6+1 impact hits. The Scourgerunner I haven't seen a lot of people use it to be fair. It use the ranger harpoon which at strength 7 is pretty good against Monsters or big nasties. Its a lot faster as it has dark steeds and is therefore not subject to stupidity. It also has the barbed bolts rule - something you will have to read about. Although its enough to say that I wouldn't want to be dragging monsters near me if i'm only toughness 4. Cold one chariots are a lot tougher and have a better armour save.

why not make the basic chariot up and then alternate the horse and cold one etc so you can use it as both
