Wayne is running a WAB 2800pts tournament at Derby over the two days - 5 games. Taken from the WAB site to better explain

Derby 2014 - WAB Competition Rule Pack
Date: 4th & 5th October 2014
Venue: Castle Donnington Exhibition Centre, Castle Donnington, Derby, De74 2RP
Competition: There will be 5 games played over 2 days using the WAB 2.0 rules.
Armies will be 2,800pts and can be drawn from the period The period will be "Imperium Romanum" (30BC to 500AD). Eligible armies are as follows;
Illyrian, Thracian, Armenian, Parthian, Han Chinese, Bastarnae, Xiongnu, Kushan, Early German, British Tribes, Dacian, Early Imperial Roman, Dark Age Britain and Ireland, Middle Imperial Rome, Palmyran, Sassanid, Franks, Late Imperial Roman, Alan, Hun, Vandal, Visigoth, Sarmatian.
The most recent errata for both the rules and Armies of Antiquity will be used.
Army lists should be submitted to Wayne Richards at wr454@hotmail.com no later than Sunday 21st September.
Registration: Please register using the "Competition Entry Form" via the Derby show website www.worldwargames.co.uk
The deadline for registration is 1st September 2014. PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR REGISTRATION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE - we require a minimum of 8 players to proceed with the event.
Entry fee is £18.00 (includes entry to show on both days)
All games will be pitched battles using the following rules:
Terrain and Deployment:
All terrain will be pre-set each day by the umpire.
Each army must deploy entirely within its Deployment Zone. Both players take it in turn to deploy their units in the following order;
1. All Artillery, War Machines, War Wagons, Tabors, Elephants and Heavy Chariots
2. Close Order Units
3. Open Order Units and Light Units
4. Skirmishers and individual characters
The first player deploys all units of that type before the other player deploys their units. Both players will roll a D6 again to see who deploys the next order of units first. The process is repeated until all units have been deployed.
If Characters, including the General and ASB, are part of a unit then they must be deployed at the same time as the unit they are part of.
Who goes first
After deployment, both players roll a D6. The player with the highest roll can determine who will go first. Both players get the free skirmish/special deployment moves for their eligible troops. The player taking the first turn moves their skirmishers first.

Game 3: 15:00-17:15 (6 Turns Max) Finish: 15:45
