6 months means winter and possibly more.... no i wont say it....
will think about it though. if we did a two day event as some mentioned today, it would mean an entry of about about £25 - £30 each though.

Cheers guys, well worth the drive, had some fun games against very sportsman like opponents and very welcoming club members. Look forward to next year.

On behalf of Alex, Rich and myself from the Ribble Warriors in Preston, a great big thank you to all the Phoenix lads (and lasses) for a cracking event, very well organised and great fun. Big thanks to my opponents, Ryan, Martin, Jon and Pete for three great games of Bolt Action all played in a friendly, fun manner. Hope you dont wait to next year to run another

also, got this PM from Bannockburn, and thought it was right to share it;-
Hi Carl,
Just wanted to say a personal thanks for a very well run and thoroughly enjoyable tournament. All you Phoenix guys were sound, as were the other players I encountered, there were no rules issues to be had thanks to your terrain clarifications and cant wait for your next one, will definitely keep an eye out for it or if you can send me an email when you decide when your next one will be, may get a few more lads from Preston down.
I really liked the missions you had, objectives were useful but not a match winner in their own right and didnt become the sole focus of games two and three.
Pairing players is also fantastic, we had discussed this before hand and it was exactly as we hoped, it allowed for a real fun game, and although it was a tournament, meant it wasnt (in my opinion) a seriously competitive one and allowed for fun, friendly play. Absolutely great, and it was young Alex who won us the game (with help from Jon's roll of one on Brit artillery) ;D
Also think your scoring system was excellent, not many three game tournaments I know of where you can suffer a major defeat in your first game and still finish second.
I see you mentioned more terrain for next one, personally I thought it was okay. Some tables were sparse, some werent so think the mix was okay.
Dont have any constructive criticism, all pros and no cons from my point of view, and although a two day event would be great if possible, I'd certainly be back for another one dayer (calendar permitting).
Congratulations to you and your team mates on running a cracking event
