Some people have asked about the rulers we produce which can be used for Bolt action but are not official.
We will be bringing a number of these rulers to the club in arrangement with Carl before this event.
They will be available in Dark red, Green and Grey.
Price is not available at present but will be about £10- £12 we believe.
Also coming very soon will be movement trays in wood.

all entrants now paid and lists starting to come in.
don't forget lists should be in by Jan 31st latest to avoid tournament penalty points of 1pt per week or part thereof.

I'd like to come along and can bring a table of terrain too.
Are there any places left?

unfortunately no places left. the event was sold out in 3 days when it went up last year, and i have 2 or 3 reserves waiting as well, but will let you know if it changes.
if you are local or are in the area please feel free to pop along on the day, and thanks for your interest. if all goes well, this could be an annual thing so keep checking the forum

guys
i have sent round another copy of the rulespack which includes this amendment,
AMENDMENT TO 750PT GAME AS AT 06/02/13
After all units on both sides have been deployed find the centre line of the table, i.e. 24” up from the back table edge of both players, and measure 6” in from one side, and then place a dice here and a further dice at 12” intervals after this, i.e. 18”, 30”, 42”, 54” & 66”.
Roll a d6 and the objective marker is placed upon the result of the roll, i.e.
1 = 6”
2 = 18”
3 = 30”
4 = 42”
5 = 54”
6 = 66”
After play-testing this change, it not only brings another random element into this scenario but stops every unit congregating in the set-up phase around the middle of the set-up area and then piling forward to the centre point of the table, which we found to be a bit boring.
any questions please shout
also, for those who have not sent us the final draft of their lists please do so by this friday. this extension is for those who have come in as reserves etc and those who have not sent them by means which can be read.
regards
carl

Indeed was a fun day. Some minor feedback from me - I think the tables needed a bit more terrain but aware you guys probably used what you had available. I would also like to play more 1000pt games, otherwise was a great day.

We totally agree with you about the terrain, we used almost every last thing we had! Next year we hope to have a lot more terrain and are already discussing scenarios, war period and points values. Hope to see you again in 2014.
