That's tempting. What rules set were you thinking of?

perry miniatures seem to have their own and you get basic rules with each box set you buy. 12 quid for 12 cavalry and 12 quid for 36 infantry

American Civil War - I like that idea but again must think of the pennies before venturing into another gaming system especially with so many other things to do.

well as you all know i am planning to run a game at kelmarsh 2009 based around a battle that took place in 1863 near the town of franklin however as of yet i am unsure which set of rules i should use or get idears from. i am aware that the perry's supply a basic set of rules but apart from them the only set of rules i have found sutable for the size of game we are planning to run is a system called "brother against brother". has anyone got any other suggestions?

best to wait and see what the 'rules' you get in the boxes are like then decide
