Martin is looking for our comments to make sure it is clear / everything is covered before posting the "Final" version on the WHH website - so if it's unclear let him know by posting on the forum.

Don't forget all Romans should be able to use the line relief system. They learnt to do it in the Republican period and then kept on doing it. So its not just the Republican armies that are 'missing out'.
Sorry I cannot comment on the WAB forum as Andy kicked me off it. So if you think it is worth mentioning there, please feel free to do so.

If I remember correctly - a few people have already mentioned this discrepancy.
It will be interesting to see what the result is.

Love the D3 oracle addition to mercenary Greeks and +1 if you have a character in the unit.

I need to check my HoG's against the revised list - to see if they're still legal, but on a quick read the revised HoGs (early and late) seem better

But of course WHH is no more, so don't expect links to it to work.

There are links to the latest copies on the WAB Forum, and I have PDFs of the latest versions if anybody needs them.
WHH website has been shut down, but to be honest I'm suprised that was not done 2 years ago when WHH was closed as a company and merged with Forgeworld.
I'm waiting to see what the future brings, but I have all I need for the time being - rules and armylists - who could want for anything more? ;D

So now WHH is gone, do we start searching for another 'Tourny' set of historical rules?
I love Hail Ceasar, but not sure if their strict enough for tourny play.
How about Clash of Empires from Great Escape? (who currently have a special offer on...)
Or War and Conquest from Scarab Minatures? (Who is headed up by Rob Broom, original WHH guy)
Or even Field of Glory from Osprey?

Far as I see no worries with continuing with WAB2 looks complete to me.
I think we are a few years off worrying about WAB going out of fashion, for competitions.
However love Hail Ceasar, but not suitable for comps - at least not yet.
Clash of Empires would like to play a few times consistently with a number of others it is WAB re organised and plays ok from the couple of games I have played.
War and Conquest, sorry got fed up reading new rules based on the WAB template, happy to be led bu a n other on this system.

If people want to play the other systems I'm happy to look at them and even learn them
As for WAB - people still play WRG Ancients - the fact that WHH is not there changes nothing unless we want it to.
HC - is not comp suitable as is and I got bored reading CoE. I will be reading WaC soon but as I have all WAB supplements and official downloads - I see no urgency.
While people want to play it Axes will remain a WAB event
