Not painted 15mm before - have sprayed all models in the Humbrol 8th Army desert colour and was thinking dry brush, pick out flesh and metalics and dip? Am almost tempted just to brush the tanks with metal tracks and dip.
Quick query were the wheels with the tracks painted or bear metal?
Any suggestions welcome - just want a fast good looking table top result nothing to win awards.

I've always painted the track runner wheels and sprockets the same colour as the tank for my late war stuff....now you've got me wondering? ? I would advocated the use of army painter dip, I know its not everyones cup of tea but I like it and it puts a good protective coating on your toys. I think it should look really good on the light colours on desert war stuff although never tried it myself.

Alright james i normally do tracks like the battlefront vids on you tube german grey and then rub them with a pencil looks good and so easy, the inner wheels i do german grey to as most were rubber. I have just painted all of justins at our clubs british infantry (35 stands !) i normally paint them base colours then wash (or dip ) then one shade on all faces, guns, uniform and webbing sounds alot but end result is nice. With brits so easy my SS i painted pea dot camo on them all and they didnt do so well at a little tournament ,so changed them to 5th SS Wiking mostly in russia so overpainted a load with white winter smocks crying as i did it lol.. I will see if justin can send me a couple of photo's and post them on here

Army painted - pretty pleased with how quick and simple army painter made it, 3 evenings painting plus time to dip and spray. Sadly basing sand I have used is a bit coarse and orange but may try dry brushing it to tone it down. Overall pleased with the result!
