Hello Mark, I don't have a game but I'm afraid I only play fantasy. What armies do you have and what do you want to play with if you want to take me on?

I mainly play Warhammer fantasy but occasionally play WAB & FOG. I do quite a few warhammer fantasy competitions including GW & club level events. I am currently mainly playing wood Elves but also have: High Elves Forest Goblins Dwarves Chaos Dwarves Chaos Mortal Chaos Beastmen Vampire Counts Tomb Kings of Khemri Empire of Norsca (using my Vikings)
Happy to take on any army at warhammer fantasy hopefully with the wood elves as I have a couple of tournaments coming up.
I also have for WAB I have Vikings & FOG I have persians.
Regards
Mark

Interesting by the looks of those fantasy armies - you have been playing for quite a while!
I have played against Vikings already in WAB - but using my Alexander force of Macedonians! Won that even though there was a definite case of a few years between each epoch!
If you are playing wood elves that's fine - I'll play you with VC, O&G, Empire or Dwarfs - take your pick! Or do you prefer a surprise as you said you wanted to test out your tournament team. You never know what your facing when you arrive. This will give you a bit of competition as will allow you to create a balanced army. Will you be playing with named characters? Oh and what number of points -2000pts or 2500pts?

Hi
I have been playing since 6th edition came out, I have been into RPG & wargaming since late 70s but droped out for about 10 years due to starting a family.
Looking for 2000 point game & yes a suprise army would be good.
I will see you on the 29th, who should I ask for?
Regards
Mark

OK - are you playing special characters as I normally don't - but may make an exception if you do? Oh just ask for Warren.

Warren, my apologies. After an hour in Rushden visiting every hall but the correct one & cursing myself for not getting a phone number i still could not find the venue.
Would you be able to supply some directions & a contact number & also re-arrange a game.
Once again apologies for your wasted evening, a win to you!

Aha found what was wrong, I had a link with your old meeting place, not the one on your actual site.

I wondered where you were... I had a bit of difficulty getting into Rushden as the Police had blocked off the main road into it. Had to go around the Wrekin past Waitrose to get back on track. No matter - we are in the Scout Hut which is just behind Orbit Tyres. I'm sure our main web site has directions for that phoenixgaming.wordpress.com/about/Anyway I ended up playing a very small skirmish game with Alex's lad to teach him the tricks of the trade - my general got killed - but I got the objective!! Maybe we can play next week if nobody else has collared me by then - I have promised one of the other new guys next week but he needs to check a few things first.

Warren
Thanks for the run through with Chris.
Mark - I see you mention that you have a FOG army. I'd be interested in having a game. I bought the rules but not played yet. I have Republican Romans and Carthaginians in 15mm.
What scale do you play?
Cheers Alex
