i think that these can run alongside one another. perhaps it would have been wise to put a rule in that you shouldn't play your second match (or maybe your third game) until everyone else has played at least one game in you league. the fact that darrell has now won four games may mean the others lose interest but this should not detract from other games in the club, or other leagues being run. as steve does role-play every other week i cant see why we should say that everyone else cannot join a WOW league when he can only play at best once a fortnight. i will certainly be playing WOW if it starts in december as this still leaves 3 weeks free per month to play league matches although i would probably not play more than 2 anyway.
i am playing my second game next week against james and probably wont play again until mid november due to other stuff (not WOW).

This was never intended to tread on anyones feet or detract from anything else the club was/is doing. Quite the opposite. As I've tried to outline it is a game you can drop in and out of and is a great game to "mop up" anyone who hasn't got anything else to do. I don't mind when it starts, if at all. It just seemed a few of us really enjoyed it and I wanted to stike while the iron was hot. It also puts 6 players on one table, which helps with any over crowding.

i can't see a problem with this starting and as i said, i'm def in. still think first week of december would be a good week to start. what about everyone else who is interested in a league of WOW, what do you think?

As I said not a problem just please ensure you get the fantasy games in when you can. I would love to have a pop at the WOW but again will be learning the rules slowly.

I'd be interested in playing on occasion, but other commitments mean that I'm likely to not play often.
As a suggestion perhaps we could look at having a trial run of the proposed league rules for this game in November and December, with the real thing due to start in the new year. That would not only give those who are busy like me a chance to get some or all of the Fantasy league games out of the way. But also give those who have not played before, or are unfamiliar with the rules a chance of get a few practice games in before things get going in earnest.
