Ok just for the record I have now sent the form for us to be at Salute with Steve Barber miniatures, I am unsure if others of you are going to be with Warlords this year as I don't know what that set up is or even if it exists. For those that don't know we will be doing four stepped Jason and the Argonauts scenarios which will be participation games. The four scenarios will each occur on the same table, which will be partioned or quartered accordingly. So who is up for this then? The player of the day that gets the furthest in the scenarios and scores the most vps against casualties gets to take home a prize which Steve Barber says he will be donating. Steve is also kindly donating a number of miniatures to this game, which will be the club's after. We also have a view to take this to Hammerhead as well. So who's in?

@ James - your just a plastic Roman at heart! So I take it that you will be on the Warlords table then.
@carl not too sure you want to leave it that long since the tables have to be booked up soooner than then.
Well naturally Julie and I are in so that leaves 6 places - all this provided we get the Salute nod!

Warlord Games have confirmed to me today that they would once again like Phoenix to help out at Salute 2012 by running their game at this event. As yet there is no word on what game, period or system this will be but it will almost certainly be historical.
if you wish to be considered for one of the places, of which there should be 12, please put your name here and state whether you wish to be on the Warlord or Phoenix/Steve Barber table which will have the Jason and the Argonauts game.
for me, it will be the Warlord table.
thanks

I have a suspicion that Warlords may do a Naps game considering the glut of recent Nap plastics. Which would I would miss with a heavy heart however - I am really looking forward to the Argonaut game. Still going through the scenarios having completely rewritten the first one. There will be four stages -
1) Talos 2) Capture the Harpies 3) Into the Hydra's den 4) The "Children of the Hydra's teeth"
I should be finished with these in about a month. Then there is the painting... and rebuff of the scenery.
