Most of our Magic players aren't registered on this board (Richard, Will, Ed, etc). I'll mention this to them on Tuesday when we all get together to Roleplay.

Of course - however I have been told of possible limits to each system. At the moment it looks like it will be doubles for wfb and 40K, they want one player for each system, LoTR is out as there is no interest. I have plugged for 2 singles for WAB2 or perhaps doubles in this Simon and Carl would get first refusal on this as I can play WFB. I have also asked for two teams for WFB. Justin is currently doing the rulespack and we shall see what is what next week. We will be asked to play a Joker for any system we feel particularly confident in (although I'm waiting for confirmation on how many we can have), and I 'm not too sure about what it actually means. Is it for seeing which ones we will play or is for actually double your points on the day? Unsure yet. There is also a vetoe system which we would use for something we couldn't fill - any system that gets at least two vetoes from the other clubs will not be played.
Justin has got Leicester Squigs on board and reports that they are keen as we are. Just waiting for Peterborough and possibly MK guys. If so that will be a five way club smash.
If you could Stephen - talk to the MTG chaps and see which one of them could play and have one in reserve just in case. We want our strongest team.

Ok got a message from Justin and he has put this forward for requirements making teams of twelve. However if two other clubs veto a system then it won't be in the tournament.
2 x wfb doubles(4 players) 1 x 40k doubles(2 players) 1 x wab2 doubles(2 players) 1 x FOW singles(1 player) 1 x bloodbowl (1 player) 1 x hordes/warmachine (1 player) 1 x magic the gathering (1 player)
I will wait until Tuesday to get others interested such as the FoW and the MTG before announcing the team. Remember your system may get vetoed by two other clubs. As far as I can see we would only veto if we couldn't get the people there.
More news about rules and points etc to come, just waiting on Justin to send them.

It depends on what era they decide to do - sort of out of my hands but I have hinted on possibilities.

@ Darrell I would have preferred both of you for the doubles as you have very competitive and compatible armies. I will most likely team up with Julie, as the TK are out on May 5th they will be tournie legal. So dust off the vamps for me and TK for Julie - unless we can go likey likey.
@ James - don't you ever catch a break?

Warren; what are you doing if there are more people wanting to do a particular system than there are places for that system? will you be drawing names out of the proverbial 'hat'?

Do we have to have a commitee vote on this as well??
The way I see and from past experiences - reliability will always get my vote first.
First come first served is how this will be done. May sound unfair to some people but I don't want to fanny about.

You fools - the solution is clear ;D
If more people want to play a system than are needed they simply have to play amongst themselves to decide the best player(s)
example as it stands at the moment Carl, Warren and myself would have to fight several WAB games against each other to see which two get the honour of representing the club.
Failing that we just rely on common sense and people being reasonable to see if we can't all come to a sensible arrangement

For what it's worth, I think common sense should reign.
It's worth noting that in doubles it's less about who the two strongest players are and more about which combination of armies works best together. If there are clearly two strong players but their armies don't work together well at all then it would be best for the club if a 'weaker' player with a more compatible army is in the team as the combined army will be stronger for it, and hence Phoenix will do better!
As the only semi-frequent Warmachine player it's pretty much a given that I'll be playing that system - so I can playtest, is there any chance we can get some certainty on points values at all please? I'd imagine it'd be 35 point games, which I'm fine with, but I may have to get some extra bits if it's 50 points. No issue, I just need to know!

Don't know what the fuss is about? First come first served - team list as follows Fantasy Doubles: Darrell Lee and Paul Redburn, Julie and Warren Stevens 40K : Davinder Purewal and Darren (Possibility) WAB2: Simon Robinson and Carl King Bloodbowl: Stephen Mawson. Warmachine: Ben "Diesel" Harris MTG: Possibly Richard Humphries FoW: No one up for this yet? This will be the team but if anybody has any objections to where they are placed then please PM me about it. How many FoW players do we have? We only need one player from you. @ Ben as you see the two players I was talking about have both - their armies are compatible and they play really well. Now as for the Mrs and Myself that's a different story. We have compatible armies but our rolling is dire, I could have clairvoyanted more dice rolls tonight - so predictable! When the dice Gods don't like you then you just have to take it on the chin as the worst always happens and generally does with me .
