Hello Everyone
Any of you guys tried using Army Painter Quick Shade? If so any opinions good or bad would be welcome. Thought I might experiment with it.
I'm looking for a quick way of painting up my FOW kit. Some forums suggest it is a quick and easy way of getting some detail on to figures.
It looks like you block paint the figure and then dip it into the Quick Shade and hey presto instant shading.
Cheers Alex

Warren: That's more like using masking tape or art masking fluid to mask off areas to give you camouflage markings or paint chippings/wear.
Alexs: Basically, you do indeed block paint with it, and then dip it into the variant of Quick Shade you need depending on the model (light, medium or dark at last count). So, a High Elf archer would probably look great with a light shade but not the dark shade.
It's my understanding that it is, essentially, an easy way to do the "dipping" painting technique that sprung up a few years ago.

Marmite is a very divided subject for shading, the effects are quite extreme and you either love it or you hate it ;D
