James you say you have a school club.
How do you fancy having a school club battle against ours?
How many kids do you have that play 40k and how many play fantasy?
It would be good perhaps to hire out the library at my school as its free so no money outlay or alternatively I suppose we could use the hall with permission as they have long dining tables in there.
It just a pie in the sky but worth doing.
I have about three or four fantasy players and that many 40K players - the rest flit about the two games and don't really get into the rules that much. If you have 8 players such as this how do you fancy that for an after school bash. We could wait until it gets lighter again perhaps in April?

Not yet ... I will be running one from January as part of our extended curriclum but it wont be GW, the plan is to build and paint an ECW battelfield and armies over the course of the the year then learn to play with them. Then next year try out romans/celts. Once it gets going will see if any of them do GW and then maybe we can get a game or two in they do.

Ok - but most of the newer kids are more heavily into 40K - which I quite loathe even more after playing last night. I just don't see any mental skill in it to be honest. I always get the proverbial second go and half of my troops get wiped out by turn two. We have a few fantasy players at the school but it may be just 2 or 3 of each to play yours when you are ready.
