Just thought we could all do with a thread that we can have collective discussions in. That way it's not all varied.
Definitely a fantastic first session guys. Went completely of script but don't care, one of the most fun sessions I've had thus far.
Hope you all enjoyed it just as much and hope that 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons met your expectations.

Dude, most fun I've had in a long time. Excellent start, and yes totally off track. But i do need to learn my spells and re-read that rule book again, getting the players handbook ordered today, but i do already have a PDF version - need to check it and what i can read it on the iPad with as that may save me a few pennies - but there's nothing like the real thing.
Honestly can't wait for the next session, next week, will get my miniature finished ASAP now, I'll see if i can get the others dealt with as well, but it does take time...I did see the set on ebay last night for £16 so might grab that in the meantime due to the price.

OK, so checked out these PDFs i have, and seem like I've got the lot for v5, all the guide/rule books, character sheets and also 2 quest books (Tyranny of Dragons 1 and 2). I can share dropbox folder or bring the laptop along next week with them all on so if anyone wants just bring a USB stick. Its near on 500mb for the lot so you'll need a big stick (thats a usb stick, not a dirty great hammer Baylon).

I'm good thanks. I've got the books and I'm combed those things, if there's something I don't know I at least know where to look at this point. I'm sure the others might find them useful though.
Also I didn't realise the models were going for that cheap, that's not bad. I'm sure if you talk to others about it they'll really want one too, maybe you can all chip in.

Excited for tomorrow guys. Can't wait. I've got some good plans for how session 2 is going to go. Chances those are going to get completely derailed and we'll still have lots of fun like last week. lol
Oh and PS. But does someone fancy running as DM when this is finished? The adventures still got a fair few sessions to go so don't worry. It's just campaigns take a while to plan and I wanted to give whoever was up to the challenge as much of a heads up as possible. And if it's needed I'd be more than happy to help them, I've run a few campaigns (modules and created.) so I could offer some experience.
See you all tomorrow guys, don't forget your character sheets. The plot is about to thicken.

Not sure if anyone will check this before tonight, but i may be a little late, my dog had a half inch chunk bitten off his ear by a neighbours retarded spaniel, so much rushing to vets etc, he can't be left alone so i won't get away from home until at least 7.30, so of course may be a bit late tonight. Fear not i shall arrive in a puff of smoke, flock of doves and firework sparkles as soon as i can...

Well done guys, another great session complete. A lot more combat focussed this time but definitely got some progress done. Feedback is always welcome on what you thought of the session as well.

I'm back and ready to get busy on Tuesday, have been pouring over the dungeon masters guide, and am gradually gathering some ideas for the next campaign, I've got a few more insights into playing better, or should I say not just resorting to freezing anything and everything, and have been re watching those PAX games mostly on Thursday as it poured down with rain so have got a lot of silly ideas.
Bazil is eager to arrive in a flurry of doves and fireworks floating into the scene on a giant Mage Hand!

You're not going to make us roll d20's to see if we can sprint across pools of custard, because you know custard has a special property that if you move across it fast enough it remains solid enough to stand on...
Mind you i can just glide along on my giant Mickey Mouse Mage Hand...
