Heres a quick question for everyone, and I would like your honest opinions/input:
Would you be opposed to a change in the armoured transport rules for the tournament? If I changed it so that an armoured transport used the same rules for pinning as tanks would you be more likely to use half-tracks etc?
eg a regular Hanomag (armour 7) is shot at by some riflemen from its front arc. They hit it. If the hano rolss a 4+, negate the pin. Had the hano been vet, then no pin applied.
I hope that makes sense. It seems a shame to me that no one takes halftracks etc but on the other hand I am wary of introducing too many house-rules that people either forget or get confused.
Thoughts?

Sounds good to me. As you said, it does make it harder to play halftrack a etc

Attached is my proposed transport pinning rule (in the form of a table). If it makes any sense let me know what you think. I have also added a vehicle pinning table since that seems to confuse people as well and it may be of some use. Attachments:Transport pinning.docx (15.97 KB)

Pinning rules look fine to me.
If I do use my Hungarians it is 90% likely that I will be using a Zrinyi II as a StuH 42 (via axis support rule). There is no real difference between the two in the rules, but to make the vehicle clear the StuH 42 "zrinyi II" will have Schutzen on the model and in the list. Schutzen is not available to the Zrinyi in the Hungarian list, though they had it historically. Making the axis support StuH 42 rules a better fit for some late war Zrinyi, than the actual rules.

Ostfront book, page 79. - Strafbattalion are shirkers, without the -3 reduction in points per man. This is clearly a typo and you cannot therefore buy inexperienced men for that unit for a single point!
