Very entertaining game. Massive casualties to both sides.
Final result was a 5 - 2 solid victory to me. 1,848 pts to 1,421.
I played my Monster Hunt card, Jon played the Wizard Kill card.

Darrell you must get a table up as you are organising it.
Yes I had the pleasure of watching most of that game and I don't fancy my chances with either army.

What a game I thought only Jon could have that much bad luck in one game I could not help feeling a bit sorry for Craig better luck has to follow for you.
we played dawn attack.
the final result was a massacre to me 7-1 2,423vp's - 410vp's.
I played Crush thy foe and Craig played Monster hunt.
I will post a table on the notice board each week.

Great entertaining game which had Jon's lion share of bad roll dice. Highlight was the wraiths taking down the giant (to get the Monster hunt scenario), which promptly fell on his black orcs! Jon played the get a unit to the other side's deployment zone but just couldn't manage it. We played Meeting Engagement. The final result was a massacre to me 7-0 VPs Me (Warren) 2080 vps vs Jon 40vps I played Monster hunt and was successful so the extra point and Jon played Get into the opponent's deployment zone one which he didn't quite do.
So where's this table then?

Second game against Craig's lizardmen - very hard fought game and really a grind fest. That fat frog of his is the biz for magic. Great game but also frustrating on my part getting my magic phase mostly shut down for the whole game. Still the Black knights kept coming back with a vengeance!
Anyway here are the results
We played Battleline The final result was a massacre to me 7-0 Vps me (Warren) 2823 vps vs Craig 215vps I played assassinate and was successful in killing his Level 4 Slann so netting some good Vps. Craig played crush thy foe but didn't quite make it.

anothe hugely entertaining game with Jon as usual his dice rolling was as good as ever causing more casualties on his on forces than i could in the first 2 turns culminating in him causing a miscast and promptly the shaman and 8 of his boys were sucked off the table. we played dawn attack the final scores were darrell 2147 Jon 455 I was succsesful on my mission to kill the giant but jon mistakinly played destroy all warmachines on my hellcannon ITS A MONSTER EVERYONE

Hardly the spirit of the game there Darrell. You should have let him know beforehand what all your troop types were. If Jon did destroy the hellcannon he should really get the bonus point and accompanying vps for it as he hasn't used kill monster task as I am aware yet. To deny him this is not really on especially on a technicality. If he didn't then its a moot point.
If you don't know about how to get a table up here please let me know and I will do it for you.

Pretty stiff opposition from young Ethan there tonight and a few little tidy secrets in that army. However some really unlucky rolling at the end with even cold blood leadership tests cost him a lot of points. Scenario: Battleline Result = Massacre - Warren 2676vps v Ethan 40vps Missions- Warren - Getting own units into the opponents deployment end was successful Ethan - Crush they foe - Fail Final Result Warren 7 Ethan 0

Pretty tense game between Stephen Mawson and myself.
Scenario - Battleline Result: Warren 1945vps vs Stephen 1221vps Missions : Warren Kill All warmachines - Failed (misunderstood directive - bit silly thought it was just an exclamatory generalisation rather than having to actually kill all the war machines!) Stephen - kill general - Successful! Win for Warren

Craig v Jon
After spending most of the battle with my Lizards hiding at the back of the board (which was made decidedly easier by Jon's Rock Lobba killing itself in the first round) I managed to grind out the win. My magic made the big difference in this battle. I've never seen so many dispel attempts fail by just a single point as Jon made tonight...
Scenario - Dawn Attack
Result - Massacre - Craig 1339 VPs Jon 268 VPs
Missions - Craig, Assassinate (Successful) Jon, Crush thy foe (Failed)
Final Result - Craig 7 Jon 0
