I'm a FoW player.... and I've paid :-) What I haven't done is made the difficult decsion as to which list to put in....but in the next week or so I will forward it as required. Thanks for efforts of all those who help to arrange/organise this.

depends what it says on your army list, and on the rules pack, but normally you need at least one character to act as army general even if it does not say general in the list, i.e captain, sergeant etc

The roman Army General character is 0-1 in theImpererial Roman list in the rule book - so if you're taking those then NO you do not need one.
Any scenario tests (not combat based tests) based on the army general can use the highest Leadership of any characters you do take.

Updated!
Just to let you know that we have got a first prize for the WAB which is the same as last year -a miniature Roman helmet with red plume - so nice looking are these we decided to go with one again.

Just a run down of awards which have now been ordered.
WAB2 tournament 1st place - Roman centurion with red plume mini-helmet mounted with winner inscription. 2nd place silver trophy 3rd place bronze medal Best painted - engraved silver plate in presentation box The Blood Goblet -One who scores the most VPs regardless of vps against. The "Hacked to Pieces" award - for he/ she who stood valiantly but to no avail!
FoW 1st Place - Trophy 2nd place silver trophy 3rd place bronze medal Best painted - engraved silver plate in presentation box The "Firing Squad!" award - For he/she who led his/her army to destruction.
I hope this has wetted the appetite of some would be WAB or FoW players to put in a few late entries. There are still places.
