Hi Grief, nice to see another player up for the tournie. Could you let Warren have your name so he can add it to the list

Yeah whack it in for now then Warren and I'll see what I can bring together. When does the army list have to be in by the way cause obviously that will effect whether it's the current or a new version of WAB.
Additionally I presume I can use a Germanic tribe army (like we talked 'bout on the forums) in this tournament?

Yes not a problem with the Germanic tribe and a refreshing change to Romans!
Yeah we will be doing WAB 2.0 if its out at least two months before the tournie start. If it hasn't materialised by July 4th then it will be WAB 1.5. We do have to read and playtest the rules and possibly rewrite the pack for WAB 2.0. Currently we have a WAB 1.5 rulespack being written which will stick once July 4th has come and gone.

Does Paul have a surname as we have a Paul already at the club and I never get his right ? Is it Paul Thompson? Thracians that's weird as I was looking to do these myself but just resigned myself to playing them on Total War Rome. Ok will add your name properly now. Welcome aboard it does make a refreshing change to see different armies - apart from Romans Romans Romans!

We now have had confirmation that WAB 2.0 will be out at Salute so this means this will now be featured in the Axes and Axis tournament - I just need a copy of it now.

Although the WAB 2.0 book has just come out we do need to get a move on with formulating a rulespack for it. I think its best to go with the book RAW and then add Errata when they come out. However we are still limiting the time scale nothing after 1066 - everything before it!
