Wow - first outing and Simon gets a victory! Well done mate seems like a very close affair points wise with Darrell - you'll have to give me a step by step of how you did that. Looks like Jon took a tonking from Steve's Skaven guys. That is some vp margin Stephen!

Jon had some very bad luck, whilst I had some pretty good luck. Both Doomwheels were stunning, one managed to kill a Chariot, a Character, scare off some Black Orcs (twice), scare off a regular Orc unit, that contained the BSB (then run it down whilst it was fleeing).

Sorry for not getting this right last night - it was late, i was tired, etc
But Darrell should have an extra 100 points for capturing the standard with the Dark Riders he ran off the board.
As for how I did it LUCK, I had two units pass crucial break tests, Passed a fear test and managed to dispel an enemy spell just when I need to.
But to be honest shooting Skull Taker with a Bolt Thrower was the winning event. I had a 2/3 chance of killing him, which I did. If I had failed I would have died - probabaly been a big winfor Darrell.

I think that's right.
I'll change the table to reflect that now, will check the victory margins when I get home.
Scratch that, on further thought the draw threshold is 10% of the game points. Which in the table for a 2,000 to 2,999 game is 299 points, so it's still a win to Simon, but only just barely.

Yes - I claim a minor victory by a mere 15 points.
Got to love passing those break tests.
If there's a prize for the smallest margin of victory I think it might be mine already, or at the least I've set the score to beat ;D

Steve mentioned Tuesday that he probably cant play another SFS game until March because of roleplaying alternate weeks and 2 WAB games in Feb. Can we perhaps split these weeks so he can do one WAB and one SFS game as this is going to hold up our division somewhat as i have played 2, Paul 1, Steve 1, Kieron 1 and Jon 3. Kieron and Jon i think are playing next week so Jon will have finished, Kieron will have done 2 whilst Steve and Paul have only played 1 each.
as he will then have Paul, Kieron and myself to play this could mean he can't finish until 6th April if he plays an SFS game on each of the 2 dates out of 5 in March he isn't roleplaying.
was hoping we could have this all done by the end of March as the 5th March is the anniversary of the tragic accident.
i have got a card by the way to send to Jay (Simon's widow) and will bring it in for people to sign.

Two more results added. Both from Division 2.
Simon wins a very close game of Dark Elf civil war with Julie, whilst Warren's Vampires feast on the blood of Andy's High Elves.
Division 2 remains difficult to call, although with two massacres Warren looks the most likely to secure one of the two qualifying places.

A very difficult game against Andy as it always is and the Vps do not give him justice at all. He did everything right except for sticking Teclis in the front of that Phoenix unit. A unit of dire wolves for half his points is a very good trade in my book. I was very lucky with the Varghulf. I nice game of hide and seek at the end as i thought my Lord had taken too many bolt thrower attempts and magic up the Kazoo up to that point. Call me chicken - at least this one flies better!

From a football orientated sporting background - I really don't like the idea of 1st and 2nd division as names it makes everybody in division 2 sound like also rans that are looking for promotion to division one. Could this be changed to A) and B) ?

Sorry Stephen I just realised when I added up Darrell's score I forgot to add the 50pts for the raised zombies that he killed. Could you add this please - sorry Darrell my bad.

You are correct Darrell - minus 200pts from me then as my dragon popped leaving the banners behind.
