Hi Warren. Chris from Durham has arranged to stay in Birmingham with friends over the Gamesday weekend. When and where should he meet us? I know it might be abit awkward but at least its one less body to fit in a car!

We normally meet at the NEC carpark or actually inside the venue. As Julie and myself will be dropping off the kids and staying over night near Coventry ourselves - its going to be tight for space even for the gear we have to take in the car and inside the NEC. I will have a box of winter foamboards, the armies and the mountain range as well as accesories and other scenery. I will need to give you more details or perhaps Steve could add a comment after this one as he was sent some intel.

The last couple of years we've met in the car park. If Chris is going to be driving to the NEC he'll need a car parking pass, GW has sent the club a number of these so that's not a problem he'll just need to pick one up from us on the day. He'll also need a ticket to get in, which again we've been sent.
I'd suggest that when we arrive we gather in the car park, we can then dish out any extra parking passes or tickets to anyone who hasn't picked one up in advance.
We haven't worked out yet exactly who is driving at this end, and who will be getting a lift with whom. I'm assuming that myself, Liam and David will probably all be driving (plus Warren of course). We'll be looking to arrange on Wednesday who is taking the terrain and armies down, and who will be giving lifts to which of the volunteers.

I think it would be prudent to have each other's mobile numbers so that any mishaps such as traffic delays, breakdowns etc can be covered. If anybody has a difficulty that morning then it would be a good idea to have everybody know about it.
Also as the car park is quite big and generally people arrive nilly willy, keeping in contact will help those who cannot find the others. Last time I was there I didn't see anybody until I was actually in the building.
