£58.70 for a board game is a bit steep though

£58.70 for a board game is a bit steep though Hmm... lets think this through: 11 Terminators = £55 (based on 5 for £25) Terminator Librarian = £12 (metal equivalent) 21 Genestealers = £39 (based on 8 for £15) Broodlord = £12 (metal equivalent) So, that's £118 worth of miniatures alone; splitting the box between a Tyranid player and a Space Marine player for £30 apiece seems like a rather good deal to me. Not to mention, on top of all of that you get the objective markers and all of the board sections, counters and rules. If you ask me, it's a damned good deal overall.

suppose it's not bad when put like that, but it's a board game all the same. cannot justify paying 60 quid for a board game that i probably wouldn't play all that much i'm afraid.

Can you justify paying £60 for £120 worth of miniatures AND getting a free game on top of that?
Especially considering this is a limited release and thus will likely be worth a whole load more in future years.

they'll probably just re-release it in another few years though.

Highly unlikely. This has been done specifically for the 20th anniversary of Space Hulk's initial release and is unlikely to be repeated for quite a while.

Surely the nids player would be out by £16 on this very deal. SM player would be laughing just paying £30 - indeed a damned good deal for SM guy! I think it would be better if the SM player would make a little more of a contribution than the Nid player - whoever that would be (not me - I've got enough to paint!)

Well, if you're going to be that pedantic, split the cost by the percentages according to what they'd receive: let the Space Marine player pay £33.33 and the 'Nid player £25.37 then Also, there are new photos up on the Space Hulk order page including a Terminator with twin Lightning Claws, one with a Genestealer head and spine (obviously freshly ripped out) and two new Genestealer poses.

Not pedantic - just fair.

all the terminators are apparently Blood Angels so thats a bit limiting with their markings being permanent, but i suppose you could use tthem as others.

I personally think it might be better if the club bought one and kept it for club members to play with so that everyone benefits from it and not just a single member.
