Great day had by all it seems! Though a little down on numbers this didn't deter entrants from having a great day. Thank you to all that took part and mostly to Simon and Martyn who wrote up all the scenarios. A special thanks to those who helped set up and pack up also. Here are the trophy and award winners... Well done to Dave Pearson from Pompey in winning the tournament by 2 pts. He scored 62pts I (Warren Stevens) came in a close second having lead the tournament before going into round three - great game from Martyn to peg me back for a 60pt overall. Third was Tony Sansom who was at last place going into round three and racked up a 32-0 win to fly up the table to third with 54pts. Axed to Death award for coming last went to Gerald Kelly. Other winners were: Best Painted army for his Classic Indians was Dave Johnson from Pompey. Best Sports went to Paul Tysoe Best Painted camp went to Dave Pearson for his Yurt based creation with all sorts going on. Worthy winner! Last and by no means least (apart from the "last" bit)... for the Bloodiest General award that is gained for having the highest amount of amalgamated for and against VPs was Gerald Kelly with an enormous score of 9573 vps. All results are here if you wish to download the table or simply view (you will have to sign in for this). Final table of results Axes 2016.xls (33.5 KB)
