My son, James would like to come and play Warhammer again, next Tuesday 17th February. He will be choosing which army to play, out of a selection of 4. So, does anyone want to face a deadly 6 year old? - unbeaten in 3 games (with some help .

Sorry Paul, no can do - I've already arranged to let my ogres loose on windy's elves
Normally I'd be happy to oblige but you have, unfortunately, picked the one week when I managed to get organised enough to arrange a game in advance

Empire is fine, but since I have to get him back early as possible a 1,500pt game and will have to leave ideally around 10:00pm. Which means having to play relatively quickly....

Paul are you trying to suggest that Warren plays slowly!

Warren,
It wasn't a link it was just underlined, although I did like your link.
We are not taking WE's, James has chosen which army and has designed the list as well. Not exactly what I would have taken, but he goes on which models he likes, not how effective they are.
Due to James insistance on models, we have to take a 2,000pt army.
Darrell,
Love to play your new, tough army (like the last one was easy!).
Game for the 24th Feb. ?
How many points?

At 2000pts it would be better to get there a little earlier and do a quick start up. Hopefully there will be no trophy games for me to set up and we should start at 7.15 ish. However, something ringing in my ear tells me that there may be a quick commitee meeting on that night. Darrell correct me if I'm wrong.

Meant to ask you, but you'd left by the time I thought of it
How did young James do? Is he still unbeaten?

OOPS. the Empire didn't strike back then, if at all.
Paul; is he free for the fantasy doubles tournie at GW, we could get some stilts for him and tell opponents he just looks young for his 36 years.
p.s. to the person(s) who smite me each day, thank you, didn't realise just what a bad bottomed (cleaned that up) warrior i was until it reached minus 10.
bring it on.

Stilts are definately an option for the doubles, it would certainly help my dice rolls to have him on board.
Warren didn't have much chance in the game, he took a very fluffy infantry list, only one war machine and against Frenzied Chaos Knights there is nothing anyone can do.
James did get bored after a little while, I guess ripping Swordsmen apart isn't enough of a thrill for children these days!
