A fan and fun-tastic day had by all who attended the charity tournament. I was very pleased with the amount of money that was donated via the charity auction that actually went beyond what I expected. It did "pay" well to give out the draw for the next round before the auction. As it turned out, people who were paired up to oppose each other didn't want the other getting good mercenary and magic items to rain on their parade. So they started their battle -with a battle of wits during the auction and this proved more entertaining than some of the games, as they outbid each other in this small arms race. Here is how the auction went down results wise - just the winning auction is listed and the money from this with the winning bidder in brackets. It must be added that a few people generously gave the odd quid or two in a "keep the change" aura of generosity. Hmmm like the sound of that maybe a magic item card for next time? Remember that only 10 people attended (had a number of drop outs for good reasons plus a surprise visit from Stephen Mawson (thanks mate) who walked away with a model!
