Just to let those who were not there last night Darrell and Pete were elected to the general member positions.
It was an extremely close vote - so much so that I will be looking at some sort of PR system for next year
Thanks to all the candidates and every body who voted.

Approximately 50% without doing actual sums. More than in the last general election anyway. Shows what a beacon of democracy we are : D

still pretty poor though, and we need to find a way of increasing that to at least 75 / 80% from next year.
perhaps a small incentive like a free weeks gaming for one randomly drawn person who has voted might help.

To be honest I thought it was pretty good. But it is something that could've discussed. Again, just off the top of my head, I think the turn out has been pretty steady every year I've run he elections so maybe we have the best turn out we're likely to get.

Just to say thank you for every one that stood especially those subject to the uncertainty of voting, congratulations to Pete and Darrell and a heartfelt thanks to Julie and Aron who both attracted good support.
