Thanks everyone for being so welcoming / patient.
But I'm not sure my halfling mage was very representative, what with him having 18 dexterity, 17 constitution, 17 intelligence, 15 wisdom and 14 charisma.
Also I've made a note to purchase flick knives... 400 flick knives (since they'e so effective of course).

Don't worry, I'm sure you'll start sharing everyone's unique skill at getting awful dice soon enough!
Got to concur, great first time out. Brilliant evening, even if the session was as mad as a box of frogs! Look forward to the 27th!

Don't worry if your character did well this time, first time my cleric couldn't do anything but bleed. This time he actually helped, a little anyway. I tried using PcGen that aron posted but have two problems it lists my hp as 13, i have toughness feat ( +3 ) but doesn't a cleric only start with 8. The other problem is it has my armor in the inventory but hasn't increased my armor class is only base plus dex bonus.

Do you have a constitution bonus? as it will add that to your Hitpoints.
Also with equipment, there is a tab (either in equipment or character) where you can equip items. This will add it to your person and updates armour class e.t.c.
I assume it's for people who carry a couple of sets of equipment with them.

Thanks my CON bonus is 2 so that explains that. I'll try and find the tab tonight as i don't have my laptop right now.
Once you get your head round it its a great program.

It's also best to follow through the tabs as you go.
If you jump back (as I did,) it's screwed up some of my figures. My armour class and to hit are both off by one point but it's correct in an earlier build. I've changed something (likely a stat as I was seeing what it affected) and it's left them screwed.
It's a very nice program though and am going to re enter my data so I can print off another when my level increases. I really like how it places the feats with a description.

I'm hoping to pose as a peasant and accept EXP off of wandering Paladins :-) That should gain me a lvel or too.
Now just to find some evil to lure the Paladin in :-)

Well so far we only just have a higher chance of surviving than peasants. Two heroes have collapsed to one peasant killed.
