Interesting - would need three players and three 3000pt armies
Most of my armes are all in period III, but if we could find the people and the armies it could be fun.

We may have a problem with getting a Biblical army as all I have in that era are 10- 12 Egyptian skirmishers or marines. I have found out that as a team we would be rotating the armies between us so we would all play the Biblical army, the Classical one and the later one. With the army that you brought I suspect you would play this twice. It sounds great but I'm just thinking of what armies are pre 425 BC which are available model wise for the Biblical era. Although I believe that Early Greek states or Early Archaemenid Persians qualify for this period which I have of sorts.

I have a fair few New Kingdom Egyptians but a )They're not painted b)I'm not sure exactly what I have
I can sort out what I've got but 3000pts from scratch and needing to get familair with the army too might not be practical in the time we have

if crusaders are in the lists and i haven't sold them by then, you would be more than welcome to use them.

Well looking (briefly) at the armies I have available then pre 425BC: I have early Hoplite Greek (ready) N.K.E (unpainted, not pointed) 426BC- 610AD: Dark Age British & Irish - needs work, but possible 611AD onwards: Viking, Saxon, Norman (would need work but possible), WOTR (unpainted, not pointed)
I couldn't field all of the armies at the same time because there is a lot of common figure between them - but with a lot of effort I might be able to

Ok this is what is available to me
For Pre-425 BC - Early Greek Hoplites, Early Archamenid Persians, Samnites (which need painting) but could substitute for Early Roman Hills army. For 426 BC - Greek States any of them, Macedonian any variant including at a push seleucid but definitely Bactrian Greeks. Also Republican Romans but this would have to filled with allies to make up the 3000pts and defo for late Archaemenid Persians. For 611Ad + I have Normans although a bit shy on 3000pts (could they have allies?) Julie has only a box of infantry and a few archers for Wotr. I was also thinking of building up an Arab (I have three units of Arabs- Infantry, Archers, Cavalry) or Gaznavid army but don't know about the models for the later.

Well it looks like this could be do-able. Will have to have a serious bit of number crunching.

What you doing that weekend Paul or Carl?
As for lists I guess the 611 Ad + armies could be cobbled together using all the WOTR armies we have at the club- if people are kind enough to lend them. I do have a Norman army but its just barely 2000pts although I could add some Arabs to it to make them Italo-Normans. Vikings vs WoTR would be a funny sight - I would like to see how that one would go.
