Mantic's latest: Dreadball Xtreme. Asking for 100k, funded in 39 minutes and still going up.

Mental. Mantic and warlord must seriously worry GW and battlefront.

Has anyone looked at Guildball?

Very briefly, love the look of it. Concept art looks great. Price point seems a bit high though.

Are you backing Dreadball Extreme this time round?

I've backed DBX, but thats mainly because Kickstarter has made me its female dog

I may have also backed DBX, I accidently tripped and landed on my keyboard typing in my password and pledge level quite by chance!

Terrable when that happens - a common problem I understand. I'm backing at the moment, what levels are you backing at?

Managed to snag one of the early birds for rampage ($140). I doubt I'll go higher but may stick in a few add ons depending what comes up.

Ditto. I'll probably add in a little extra for the tokens (since the cardboard ones in Dreadball were paper thin) and maybe for an extra team if any take my fancy.

Tokens are definitely on my list as well. I'd like he option of a original deadball pitch made from the same material as the Ultimate pitch.
To be honest I'm hoping the do something amazing! Although the Speedball 2 Miniature is a nice idea. I'm just not sure they made the best choice of image for the miniature. It looks too cartoony.

I'm not so bothered about the teams in the box but the stretch goal teams are looking like a lot of fun. I've backed at the rampage at the moment but I will probably look at the full pledge closer to the end of the kickstarter. Once I've moved house I'll have to bring down my Deadzone stuff.

As its been a while since somebody posted a kickstarter, I thought that I'd link to this one that looks interesting... www.kickstarter.com/projects/infamyminis/infamy-welcome-to-the-big-smokeThe models aren't cheap, but they're some of the best I've seen and you only need a few. The playing card idea looks quite neat too. To back, or not back, that is the question...

I've got one of there figures at home, Tallulah, very nice cast quality although it's the 54mm version. I've got enough kickstarters waiting at the mo, even though they are lovely models I'll have to give this one a miss.
